Emergency and Trauma care department at Super Speciality Hospital Lucknow is renowned for its Level 1 Tertiary care and comprehensive emergency services to patients. A&E centre is equipped to deal with any type of urgent life-threatening condition of medical, surgical, cardiac, polytrauma, paediatric and neurological cases. Doctors and nurses at the Emergency Care department are BLS and ACLS trained and follow the International Based Standards and Evidence-Based Protocol. This ensures that care starts even before the patient reaches the hospital, hence, improving the chances of survival.

Emergency & Trauma Care backed by the acute stroke management team, cardiac team and stroke care team, works round the clock and have access to highly advanced and accurate laboratory, radiology, minor and major operation theatres & ICU services to attend any critical situation. The department houses dedicated 9 - bed emergency care capacity and triage area for mass emergencies. The department is equipped with emergency resuscitation and initial trauma management facility, multipara invasive monitor, automatic biphasic defibrillator and ventilator.
